We’re doing that in three ways:
We’re doubling the range of electric vehicles, so people will be comfortable with an electric vehicle as their only vehicle.
We’re putting safety first, using chemistry and pack design to reduce the risk of thermal runaway. We use safe LFP and anode-free chemistries with a system-level design approach that finds new ways to fit greater energy density into the pack.
We use sustainable, abundant materials that are lower in cost and resistant to global supply issues. We are building a sustainable North American supply chain that replaces expensive nickel and cobalt with plentiful iron and manganese.
We’re making electrification viable without the need to compromise on cost or performance.
We’re prioritizing safety by reducing the risk of thermal runaway through chemistry and pack design.
We’re using more sustainable, abundant materials to build a U.S. supply chain.
